Task Description

What are the traditions, customs, and festivals unique to your hometown/region?

In this task, find 5 of these and write about them. In each case give more details of this cultural heritage element. If select a festival, explain why it is held, when and how. In case you choose a major festival such as Diwali, Eid, Christmas, explain the unique aspect in which your hometown celebrates it and how it is different from the mainstream way. There should be plenty of festivals unique to your region and you should avoid the major festivals unless there is something really unique you want to write about.
