I nominate five of my friends to visit the Clock Tower in Rijeka, the heritage site where I took my #GoUNESCOSelfie. I nominate: Agnjeska, Mario, Maja, Ana and Ester.
The Clock Tower is located in the center of the town, and I am sure they pass by it almost daily while going to class, work or when meeting friends for coffee. I requested them to take a selfie with the Tower by telling them the world needs to see their beautiful faces in that beautiful historical location in our town that we almost take for granted. I thought it would be a good exercise in mindfulness to encourage them to look at the heritage and history in our own town, which I guess many of us tend to overlook as we rush by it on a daily basis.
Agnjeska and Mario were eager to get famous and took a pretty nighttime photo with the Tower in the background. Maja, Ana and Ester were still too shy to go through with the challenge. But, I think I might be able to convince them to send me their photos if I bribe them with cookies. 🙂
