Dhanraj Mahal Mumbai Historic Heritage

Dhanraj Mahal

Dhanraj Mahal is an Art Deco building, a design style that originated in Paris in the early 20th century. It has an interesting history. Built in the 1930s, it was the former palace of the Raja Dhanrajgir of Hyderabad, and once the largest and costliest building in Mumbai.
I visited this heritage spot in this week because my friends where also interested to visit this part of Mumbai & they also wanted to visit the great art festival of Mumbai “Kala Ghoda fest”. So I visited this spot , mahal is not too much attractive from outside but its inside architectural part is fabulous,I had not got chance to visit because its rented out now for commercial purpose. The place is nice & classic, its main attraction all because of “Gate way of India” which is near by mahal.
What you can do at this spot , You will find pizza express shop at the downside of this mahal it is on left side so you can enjoy there & one more very attractive shop on the right side “Bentley” car showroom is there so if you have interest in car or specially in Bentley car so you are going to loose your self.
This spot is not getting attraction as compare to other spots of historic places in Mumbai ,so if we want to give life to this monument back there are lots if idea I have but good & classic idea is “Bollywood/Media”
So if you are an Indian you will be definately know three things which is very famous in India that is “Bollywood, cricket & food” so Bollywood or media is the best way to highlight this spot. People in India is very much attracted to that spot in which there favourite hero or heroine is been dancing Fighting etc Just like for e.g bandra Bandstand fort, marine drive etc.
Being an Indian I know that soon this place will also get attracted as per other spots of Mumbai because i know that we Indian are like “Reach to Unreach” thought we keep exploring day by day.
Thanks to my friends Ravish Vishal Ankush they helped me to get more information about this part of our Mumbai.
