MAULBRONN MONASTERY COMPLEX
Built over 400 years from 1147, this is the best preserved monastic complex north of the Alps.

Around the monastery are the buildings that helped service the monks – stables, a granary, storehouses and even a fish farm!

Inside the main church and monastic complex is a interesting look into the lives of the monks that lived here over the centuries.

Entry to the external complex areas and the church is free but it’s worth paying the entrance to see inside the monastery as well.
