Al Zubarah On the tower of the Archaelogical Site

Al Zubarah was a lonely little site out in the middle of the Qatari desert.  There were camels parked nearby and the bus came by every hour or so.  The archaelogical site was a 2 kilometer walk from the fort, if you didn’t bring your car.  We drove.  The fort is completely renovated and the archaelogical site is a sprawling city of foundations.  It was a beautiful time to be walking in the desert.
