though Alai minar is dwarf in comparison to Qutb Minar but its worth visiting (inside Qutb complex) to see the ambitions of a king who wanted to prove to the world that his plans, victory, ambition is greater

you have many eateries lined up outside the complex, right from Chinese to South Indian. I had my share of canned juice bought from just across the complex near ticket window.
