Makeheritagefun in Port Harcourt

I siphoned up the will to organize a #Makeheritagefun event that would take participants  around Port Harcourt, the Garden City of Nigeria. From visiting the ancestral hall of the Akpor Kingdom, to taking a stroll on the Market walk, and enjoying a food tour and a get together with the Old Boys Association of Country Grammar School Ikwerre/Etche, the event really triggered discussions about Nigerian culture among us.

We ate some Bole and Fish, and a whole gamut of other dishes that are distinct to Nigerian streets. On the whole, it was an experience that really taught us about Nigeria’s culinary heritage.
