The Namdroling Monastery at Bylakuppe, in the district of Mysore,the largest teaching center of the Nyingmapa lineage in the world (as seen in the picture). It houses almost 5000 lamas, has a religious college and a hospital.
We were lucky enough to go during Kama Drubchen, which is a ritual held for the great accomplishment group practice of Kama teachings, during which the monks performed a Ritual dance to celebrate the spirits that have left us.
