My Sunday morning began with a few striking alarms and ended with a lifetime experience. National Galley Of Modern Art is the premier institution of its kind in India. The gallery is a storehouse of the cultural ethos of the country and showcases the changing art forms through the passage of the last hundred and fifty years.

The art gallery displays a remarkable collection of paintings, from colonial-era landscapes and Company Paintings, created by Indian artists to suit their new British rulers, to the primitive-inspired artworks of Nobel Prizewinner Rabindranath Tagore. This art gallery has ampler space to display these paintings with a vivid four-floor distribution of these paintings and scriptures. The place takes your passion for art into whole new dwelling places.

The museum also has a steel pant outside in the garden area as wel as other scriptures too. There are hourly walks happening inside the museum and a guide will take you on a tour to discover the paintings and scriptures, free of cost.
