The Kalleshwara temple is an architectural treasure hidden in the remote surroundings of Bagali village of Davangere district in Karnataka. Built by two of the most prominent rulers of the region – the Rashtrakutas and the Kalyani Chalukyas, the temple architecture reflects a harmonious blend of the Rashtrakutan architecture and the Western Chalukyan style of architecture.
