Victoria Jubilee Museum

Indian Flag- the country'd pride was designed by P.Venkiah. lucky that i was born in this very city vijayawada, the city which staged the inaguration of National Flag during the 1921 Congress Session. This building which wittnessed such great was later remodelled into Victoria Jubilee Archaeological Museum. i wish the officials take necessary steps to save this building for future genertaions. the experience was awesome just that you need to have an inquisitive mind. the ticket to entrance costs Rs10 and if you feel you need to take photographs you need to pay another 10. there are three buildings that constitute museum. the main building consists of various art works, coins , statues etc that were obtained in the excavanges in and around the district krishna. the second building consists of various arms and weapons that were used by kings of this particular region. the third building consists of articles that were found during the excavanges around the city. there are many buddhist statues that were placed on either sides of the pathway makes it enjoyable to any naked eye. besant road provides us to look into the cultures of the city.Indian Flag- the country’d pride was designed by P.Venkiah. lucky that i was born in this very city vijayawada, the city which staged the inaguration of National Flag during the 1921 Congress Session.
