A wine tasting was hosted in a restaurant in Udine. The purpose was to deepen and spread more information and culture about wines coming from the Italian region of Marche. The restaurant’s owners are Marchigian, so they had the knowledge to explain us the origins, the process behind manufacture, and the taste of the high-quality products they had offer us. In addition, each type of wine was paired with an appetizer which brought out the flavor in a more pronounced manner. Exploring the versatility of Italy’s culinary heritage with like-minded people was truly an invigorating experience.
