Morra ( sa murra in sardinian language ) is a popular game well known in antiquity. The first news that we have of the game, date back to ancient Egypt, whose origin was historically documented in 700 b.c. La morra is spread along all areas bordering the Mediterranean, arriving in Greece and Rome where it had a large spread.
The collection of stories has been translated and transcribed in Italian by the author, faithfully respecting the simple and spontaneous style and the Sardinian language used by the protagonists of the stories. The stories narrated are stories of humble town life that take place during the war, they are the stories of those who have been able to come back and who speak in the name of the missing and victims of this barbaric conflict.
