The region between Modena and Imola, in northern Italy, is part of�Emilia Romagna, but the nickname “motor valley” is getting more and more popular; it is for sure a must-see for all motor sports lovers. A crucial figure for the motor valley was Enzo Ferrari, a pilot who opened a racing team in Modena, his birthplace; then, he established the Scuderia Ferrari in Maranello, still within the county of Modena, in 1947. Ferrari racing team has won so far countless competitions worldwide; Ferrari sports car does not need any comments. Moreover, many other motorsports companies are located in the region: Ferruccio Lamborghini founded his own company in Sant’Agata Bolognese, as well as Mr. Maserati�in Bologna and Mr. Minardi in Faenza. The Enzo and Dino Ferrari racing circuit were built in Imola, and it used to host San Marino formula one grand Prix. Visitors can finally have a look at the Ferrari company museum in Maranello and at the brand new Casa Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena.
