Speak about the war, never its easy. The burden is heavier if the war has involved people of a same city, village, region … a civil war!

Because I could speak about mafia like a civil law.It is really difficult give a definition of mafia and speak of the Sicilian mafia in the movie The Mafia Kills Only in Summer the delicate balance between humor and heartrending emotion, gives the image of the mafia, Sicily and mafia culture! For this reason I think its the best the best film work onSicilian Mafiaever made.

Inspired by real events, this is a black comedy about 20 years of history of Sicily from 1970s to 1990s, mocking Mafia Bosses and restoring the generosity of the heroes of Anti-mafia.

Here in Sicily, the mafia has always influenced everyones lives and especially the Arturos life (protagonist), a young boy who grows up in Palermo and tries to conquer his beloved Flora. He has been in love with her ever since they were kids.

The hilarious and funny love story is narrated with the background of the tragedies Mafia.

the statesmen were killed by the Mafia, in the silence and indifference of the state and of the Sicilians.

The escalation of well-known murders of people like Boris Giuliano and Gen. Dalla Chiesa leads minds to the watershed assassinations of anti-Mafia magistrates Paolo Borsellino and Giovanni Falcone, whose brutal killings jolted most Sicilians out of their complacency.

Politicians, judges and crime bosses litter the streets while the citizens of Palermo refuse to acknowledge the wiseguy killers in their midst.

I must invite everyone to watch this movie, to know the culture and history of Sicily but before that I would like to remind you some heroes of my homeland:

Boris Giuliano, Cesare Terranova, Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa, Gaetano Costa, Giovanni Falcone, Paolo Borsellino, Piersanti Mattarella, Mario Francese, Pio La Torre, Rocco Chinnici, Rosario Livatino and many others.
